Those that have trucks from an 06-09, what are your thoughts on them? How many miles have you put on it? Would you buy another?

I had an 06 supercrew lariet 4wd that I put 197k miles on that was tough as nails. Sold it and got 2010 F150 so I like these trucks.

I have an '09 Lariat 4x4, first year for the new body. Absolutely love it. Bought it new and have 75000 miles on it in 3 years.

My current 99 has the 4.6 and it seems very sluggish. Those with the 5.4, how does it perfrom power wise?

Would any of you hesitate to buy one of these trucks with 70-100K already on it?

I have about 160,000 on my 07 king ranch and haven't had a problem out of it. I'm pretty hard on vehicles.

I would buy one between those miles. Power? They aint got no damn power. I saw somewhere that these trucks have 300hp. I want to know where my other 150hp is hiding

I've been looking at a few 10 models wondering the samething. I know they got to have more power than these damn 5.3 I've been running.

The only thing about the 4.6 is its supposed to be very reliable and long lasting. That's the most important thing to me. It ain't that strong, but it's enough.

I have a 2012 3.5 and it has plenty of power :D :D

I had no problems out of my 5.4 2005. I got over 150K miles out of it and the only had to change the plugs around 110K.

Ive got an 04 5.4L and love it. Had to have the coil packs and sparkplugs changed once and didnt break a single one. They have their flaws but overall its a nice solid truck. I wouldnt hesitate to buy a high mileage one, but the price that used 4x4 trucks are bringing these days its almost better to buy new and have 0% financing. $18-$20k for a used vehicle with 100k miles is stupid.

09 lariat has 72 K miles on it and serviced on a regular basis. No problems with it and love the vehicle. Have thought about selling it and getting a newer one. Used dealer was telling me that he has no problem selling fords and chevy with over a hundred K miles on them.
