Try Wintzell's on Old Hwy. 98. Good local seafood.

Wintzells is crap. Overpriced and small portions. Not to mention, that particular one is dirty.

Fairhope has lots of great places to eat. When you throw in kid-friendly, then you are kind of confined to the above mentioned fried seafood sheds. Although, Old 27 Grill is fantastic. You will not be disappointed.

We will be staying at the Grand so we will give that a try. We will have our three youngins in tow so it will have to be semi kid friendly. Thanks for the replies!

Strange... I haven't eaten over there in several months, but in a normal year I hit it up about once a month, and I've never found it to be dirty at all. And I've always gotten plenty of good tasty food on my plate. Things do change though.

JoHo, if weather is rainy, keep Battleship Park in mind. Only 30 minutes from the Grand Hotel, and a fun attraction for children. Mobile's downtown IMAX is only a few minutes away from Battleship. All causeway restaruants are kid friendly.

I'm just looking for some free hunting tips in exchange for my vast knowledge in so many other areas.

And Wintzells is still terrible.
