What is this?

Postby edub20 » Thu Jul 12, 2012 1:26 pm

What the hell is this monstrosity...

I know it's not the best pic, snapped it on the way out the door this morning. Previous owners let it go an I need to know how to trim it

I think its suppose to look that way. One of my neighbors has one and I think it looks bad when the leaves are on it, but once it sheds it looks pretty cool. I dont know the name of it though, and I think it also has flowers on it during spring.

Best way to trim that is to hook a chain to it and pull it up by the roots and plant something pretty in there. At least that's what I'd do.

This is what it can look like trimmed up, similar to what my neighbor does with his.

Hell I already gotta do that to a Palm, cactus, and some Crape Murtlyes... I ain't gonna have anything left. I think these can look "ok" if properly maintained.

I Googled ugly trees to plant in your landscape and google images didn't come back with it..

Friggin closing got pushed back to next Tues. The original owners had a lien by the Subdivision which they had to pay...

Short Sale = Deal but at higher alcohol cost due to stress accumulated.

To answer your question about regeneration...I have a huge one in my front yard..we cut it off a foot above the ground three years ago and it looks the same today as it did then...It look like a huge tumbleweed with leaves when we cut it. 10 or 11 ft tall

Yep.. Unpaid HOA dues. We get our money sooner or later.. :D. Oh yeah I forgot to tell you that we have our monthly board meeting tonight and I am nominating you for the board.. I'll need your email address and phone number so that I can post it on the website so that you can start taking complaints ASAP.
