boat, house, and autos all with Shelter, hit a stump up river in my Nautique last spring and they took care of it quickly, about $7k in damage, had my check two days after the appraiser checked it out, no complaints

I have progressive and had a claim last year on my boat. Reported the claim around 9AM, had the adjuster call me before lunch and set up a time to come by the same afternoon. By 5:30 that afternoon the guy had looked at my boat and printed me out a check on the spot! Needless to say, I was impressed

didn't knock a hole in it, bent the prop shaft, mangled the prop, and ever so lightly cracked the fiberglass around the strut, motor had to be pulled to get in there to get the prop shaft out, lots of labor hours taking the motor and stuff and putting it back in, i about fell out when i seen the quote

Progressive on boats and campers is your best bet.

State Farm for my bay boat. Counted as multi car until I got married. I also have a $25k whole life insurance policy with SF so that I can get the multi line discount. Savings on my auto insurance is more than the whole life policy me.

In nearly 25 years of tournament fishing I ran two policies. First I was with BIA. (Boaters Insurance Agency) Then Boaters Choice. Great terms with either and no hassels on claims. Back then under the requirements we had fishing B.A.S.S. no one else had the coverage that was required. Geico and Progressive nor State Farm were writing Marine policies at the time. I must have has 10 maybe 12 claims over the years and never had a problem. I remember one claim being over 15K Happened on a Sun and I made a tourn the following Tue in Pine Bluff after repairs. 2 days on that kind of a claim! These full blown Marine policies are the only way to go.
