Engagement ring needs to go!

my ex ol' lady put me on the road back in january and decided she didnt wanna get married so now I have a ring I dont need, I know I wont get back what I put into it but I would like to atleast get some of my money back, I know going to the local pawn shop is not the way to go, anyone have any suggestions? I could use the extra cash to go towards a duck boat!

Depends on where you bought it. If you got it at a retail jewelry store like a chain store you are going to get hit hard. The mark up is very high.

Try a jewelry store. My buddy owns one here in Birmingham and buys used "nice" rings all the time. He pays good money for them also.

I paid 3500 for this one, ring came from reeds jewelry in Hattiesburg. has 3 diamonds, one in middle is 1/2 carot and diamond on each side is 1/4 carot, total ring is 1 carot. can email you pics if your interested, just lookin to get some of my money back on it

I love my wife and Kids..But....$3500 is still cheaper than getting married in the long run....

Even if you don't sell the ring, you still came out financially better by not marrying the girl. Had you married it would have likely ended in a divorce (given the way she ended everything) and that would have cost you far more than $3500 in the long run.

My financial planner warns me often, that the worst thing you can do to your finances is get a divorce.

^^^ Not off the bat...He is happy for that first three years or so, THEN, he wonders what happened to the fun times... :lol:

Im not sure.. After the conversations in that timber hole, its kinda funny how you and farmerc83 both ended up making some babies bout the same time ohhhhh 9months from then

I didn't say you stopped having good times....I just said they slowed way down and after looking at you and Delta"s ugly selves all weekend, I wanted to crack something....anything..... My wife was the next best thing..:lol:
