A Sand County Almanac---Aldo Leopold. I'm working on it now. I read it in college, but it's more interesting now that it's not an assignment.

New Stephen king book "wind through the keyhole" is out. Pretty good.

Vince Flynn writes some pretty good books. Special operative bad ass kinda books. Quick reads and narrow is scope. Last one I read was the third option.

Dan Simmons. Kinda like Stephen king but more like true literature. The terror and Summer of nights were both excellent. Don't let the thickness and small print scare you. Really really good

Matterhorn by malantes. Vietnam story. Kinda historical fiction. Excellent.

Hero found is about a downed Vietnam piloet that escapes from a prison camp. Try story.

Great deluge or rising tide

Any Greg isles book.

Also I thought lone survivor was way better than American sniper fwiw

"Cornbread Mafia" is good, story of the largest US based pot growing cartel. They were KY farmers. So is "Protect and Serve", but it is military based.

It's about a young virgin who becomes a sex slave to a rich perverts husband. Lots of really graphic sadomasochism. A few nurses I know couldn't hardly stomach it.

If you want a hunting-related fictional book then check out The Dummy Line by Bobby Cole. I read it in 2 days. Couldn't put it down

Holt Collier: His Life, His Roosevelt Hunts, And The Origin Of The Teddy Bear is a good read.
