AG Agents have a shootout with two suspects last night at Lee Abrahams office in Greenwood.

That is Crazy, Have duck hunted with Lee in the past and stayed at his farm.

What's the story here? Why is the Dr. trying to kill the lawyer?

I think there is a whole lot more to this than we know.

Dr. Smith was robbed and beaten a week or so ago lured to the scene of the robbery with hopes of photographs of Lee Abraham doing something illegal. They found a big knife on scene, guy that attacked him stabbed him with a smaller knife and beat him with a hammer. Smith mentioned to the Commonwealth he thought it was an attempted assasination.

4 page single spaced document regarding Sam amd Magdelen Abraham was sent to MDCC recently that was supposedly racially heated. Supposedly was a transcript from a conversation recorded.

State Medical Licensing board is investigating Smith after a recent proposal he submitted.

Someone tipped off Lee or those Agents wouldn't have been there.

I'd say there is definitely some crooked stuff going on and I am not going to jump to any conclusions regarding anyone involved.

Lee represented dr smith's ex-wife in the 90's during their divorce so he is still mad after 20 years..

Someone called Lee and wanted to meet him in the park he told them to come to his office. Lee is real good friends with Jim Hood so I assume he called Jim and he sent some agents to investigate the death threat. They were waiting on the guys when they came in the office.

All sorts of crazy rumors...I was told that Jim Hood was on scene as well as FBI when the shootout took place.

The names of the agents are being kept confidential.

Dr. Smith wasn't the only one arrested either. William Paul Muller from Morgan City was arrested as well. What is his role in it? Wonder if he found the shooters as a middle man?

I was suppose to be meeting him today to get a divorce started stop I can bet that is going to be on hold unfortunately I'm just glad he is ok

There's always something interesting going on in Gwood. It was like a circus around here Saturday night. Facebook was lit up just after all the ambulances and police cars started rolling. The wife and i were at a doctor friends house who was on call and we heard the sirens. He figured he would be getting a call to go patch someones gunshot or knife wound and then my wife informed me of what was posted. We loaded up to go to the hospital and as soon as we crossed the bridge on Grand at the courthouse, lawd,lawd,lawdy. The whole world was blocked off within 2 blocks of Lee's office. We went to the emerg room and noticed sheriff department personel guarding the helicopter pad. They transported one by heli to Jackson.
Rumors started flying immediately about Dr Arnie because of the turmoil in the paper lately. I guess that last screw in his brain finally came loose.
The Muehler name is a surprise though............................. the plot thickens.

I have heard that Dr. Smith has a seriously warped brain. He thinks that the Abraham family is involved in a "secret muslim conspiracy" to destroy his cancer clinic. (He thinks everyone with dark skin in Greenwood is a closet muslim.) One of my dad's friends in Greenwood said that Dr. Smith accused the Maloufs of going into his home, stealing all his furniture and replacing all of his furniture with cheap replicas.

Apparently, Lee Abraham accused him of being a child molester in his divorce. Smith was actually arrested for allegedly molesting his two daughters back in 2004. He has been out to get Lee ever since.

If anyone has seen the alleged transcript that was floating around about the MDCC board of trustees it is pretty interesting too. Rumor is that Smith was behind all of that as well.

LDD, you have some reliable info. DIdn't know anyoe else knew about the furniture deal, that is funny.

Smith also got run out of Jackson before going to G'wood. Had it in his head that some of the Doctors/ Partners were "after" him and showed up at the hospital toting a pistol. Guy is a quack sounds like

I am pretty sure Smith was not behind the letter. He would not know some of the inside stuff stated in the letter. I pretty much know who wrote the letter just waiting on conformation from the FBI..

What letter? Dang guys. Somebody go from start to finish with this deal for me. Sounds good like something Grisham would write.
