What do ya'll do to unwind...
What do ya'll do to unwind...
Ok so the realization of me fixing to graduate and the pressures of finishing up school are in full force right now... I'm excited and a little stressed at the same time and I'm a pretty stress free guy unless it comes to women.. they well.. it's like they say the one thing you can't live with and you can't live without. There are guys on here of all ages, I was just wondering what ya'll do to axe stress or a turn around a bad day or to keep your mind of something. The best thing i've found to clear my head besides hunting, fishing, etc.. is working out and music other than that I take the dog out to work him, do something with my friends or family (of course), work on something like physical or clean, mix a stout drink, (even though I don't do it much, temporary fix) or ride some back roads and listen to good music or go to the deer camp or farm and fish, the outdoors are probably one of the biggest stress relievers in my life. Just interested as to what some of you may do. Maybe take something from it, I'm sure i haven't seen stress yet, considering i'm not working full time, don't have a wife nor kids. So shoot.

Sounds like you've already got it figured out, friend.

Turnrows, beer, and dogs in back of the truck and just ride with the window down.

Cooler of beer, few boxes of shells and a case of skeets hit the spot for me a few weekends ago. Most relaxed I had been in a while just out in the pasture with my brother shooting the $#!+.

Find someone to throw a football or baseball with. Slowed things down a lot for me that last semester of college. Enjoy the simple life while you've got it, don't have much longer. Now I grab a beer and fire up the grill so that I am still doing something productive while relaxing.

I have done pretty good lately about leaving the stress in the 20 minute ride home. It gives me time to decompress before I get home to the lil man and play.
But, a good bourbon (or gin and tonic as it is getting warmer), a seat close to some water (preferably a seat on a boat), and a few friends to shoot the bull with will knock the stress right out.

Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)
