I'm not sure if any of you are on Twitter or follow Anthony Dixon, but this is a tweet he sent out yesterday...and I quote, "Sumbody jus let me buy a PS3 controller till my income tax get here, or jus let me put sum down on it, or u could jus use 50 bucks off my EBT."

Now, I'm an Anthony Dixon fan, but can someone tell me how in the hell can an NFL football player have an EBT card?

Hopefully he's joking around - but I doubt it. I would say he'll be broke and living off the government a year after he's out of the league but it seems like he's already broke and living off the government.

It amazes me how stupid some of these guys look when they type on their twitter or facebook pages. It's like they shouldn't have made it of the third grade.

I believe, though its hard to read his tweets, that this was the first of a series of tweets reminiscing about his childhood when his family was poor. Next message was: "I remember when my momma use to get that EBT card its was Christmas,all type of snacks,i tried to throw a toy in on her,she said u got 5$"

But hell, I don't know that I understand a word he writes.

I had an elective art class with him, relf, romero osby, dorsett Davis (from back in the sherrill days) and a bunch of other athletes one summer. He's a frecking riot, but definitely not the sharpest tool in the shed. For the final project we had to make something out of clay. Basically, you pour something into a mold and the teacher does the rest. Well, Dixon decided to go against the grain and make something by hand, a flat football to be exact. He turned it in and the teacher looked at him and said I think not, do something else. Being the innovator that he is, he put tires on it and removed the top stitch, but kept the cross stitches and
turned it as an "escalade with 10 sun roofs on fo's." Teacher laughed and gave him an A.
