I like mine with black cherry juice. Just don't drink too much cherry or you'll chit yourself to death.

Re: Moonshine
I had a friend suggest this one called " Apple Pie Moonshine".
1 gal. apple Juice
1 gal apple cider
1.5 cups white sugar
1.5 cups brown sugar
5 cinnamon sticks
Bring mixture to boil. Then cool to room temp. Add 750ml of moonshine. Then enjoy!

Re: Moonshine
Use all that but use everclear or pga whatever you wanna call it instead of moonshine, I honestly don't know where to get moonshine.Huntington Point wrote:I had a friend suggest this one called " Apple Pie Moonshine".

It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

Re: Moonshine
was going to ask if anyone had tried the apple pie shine bc i thought about giving it a shot. would imagine it be a rough night if a jar of that was passed around a fire at camp amongst guys. the stories that would be told. any of yall tried it with the everclear and not the shine even tho they are both about the same?

Re: Moonshine
2 jars of (what I assume to be shine) showed up in the cabinet @ my camp this season. No one has ever mentioned it, so I have no idea who's it is. I rekon we better try it out this last week-end.

Re: Moonshine
This recipe turned out great. We used everclear being we couldn't get our hands on some shine. Fumes were potent to the nose when drinking it but never tasted the everclear. Actually drank it while it was still hot and it was great being how cold it was Saturday night. Be good to throw Ina thermos heated up to take on a duck hunt to sip on in the blind
