I was driving I-55N tonight running 70mph. I caught up to slower cars and merged left to pass like normal. A car came up behind faster than I was going and I just stayed at the same speed. Turned out it was a cop and he flipped on his blue lights. I could not move over without speeding up or slowing way down. Somehow I managed to move back over out of his way only to have him pull over in front and pretty much stay there until Madison exit. I am not worried about him not going on ahead, but what if I sped up to get out of his way? He could have maybe gotten me for speeding. Don't know, just sayin'!!!! It all worked out but it could be different if he was having a bad time and just wanted take it out on someone.

Reminds me of a story.. Cop came flying by me on 98 and I mean runnin at least 90 mph. Well he cuts his lights off rite as he was comin into town an pulls in the gas station that i was needin to get gas at. Well I walk in the store and he's standin in line getting chicken. Now what was such the rush? When law enforcement pulls dumb moves like that they lose a lil more respect from me each time

I was heading up 55 a few years back about 75, had a patrol put lights on way back. He came hauling booty up on me. I figured he was out to go somewhere. I sped up to 82 to get over. He pulled me over and gave me ticket for 82. I told him I was trying to get over out of his way. He said he had clocked me a few miles back at that speed; total bs. I paid the 82.
