My view........

Making some nice progress...I'd say it's 3/4 cleared.

That boy must be working by the job instead of by the hour

He's a dang fine operator. Not much wasted motion or steps....... I've been around plenty, and he's one of the best I've watch work. Whats cool is, he's dropping the trees, then limbing them on the ground with the trac hoe, then some how manages to pile it all up without much dirt at all in the piles. Got some marsh mellows?

Made some excellent progress today.......looks like all is quite until Monday. Still have just a few trees left to remove, and we will start moving dirt!!

Round two in the morning...........

Tomorrow we load up the logs......outa here.......shoot the pond outline, and start digging the core ditch for the 315' dam........may even move a little dirt depending on the weather. It will drain great after running the dozer thru it.

The 50-60% chance of rain is going to set us back a couple of days. Rain yesterday didn't hurt much, but don't want to start digging core ditches for the dam until this passes. The dam is about 300' long, so the core runs all the way under it.

Lake bottom is cleared, and we only have one load of timber left to move. Dozer and track hoe running right now cleaning up a bit, and scraping the roots/topsoil off and pushing the spoils to the backside of the levee for sloping.

It's growing.........may end up being 2 acres when it's all said and done. We raised the water level a foot.

Still making design changes.......this one lays out better with the natural water line.
