first of all - i am PIZZED off that i just stumbled onto this post!

secondly - major payne, i think i have this thing solved. this whole time you've been looking for a "john boat" as you describe, then you show a pic of a friggin' plastic 2 man bass boat type rig. if i were you, i'd back track & find all those folks that you asked if they had seen a "john boat" laying round on the road. then i'd ask em if they have seen a few hundred pieces of green & tan plastic, a couple of moon pies & a bag of weed scattered along the road in the past year or so. yep - that should get you closer to what ur a lookin fer'
