All kidding aside, they are appearantly really easy to break into. If Ford did not change the locks and door handles on the 09's, they should have to pay for all of the stuff stolen from them. Everybody knows they have had a serious problem with this in recent years.

I'll pick at you guys about vpp, but I wouldn't pick or joke about car dealerships or car manufacturers closing or any American losing their job

I don't mean no harm, but that's how much a D plan is. You can call a dealership and get the actual price on a D plan and see. The others are much more, but that percentage is not taken off the gross invoice... it's less the destination charge and then a dealer commision is added back to the price.......... I would love to come take a tour too! Thanks for offering

Like I said, the D plan is not applicable to us. I use A or C.
The A plan IS 4.3% off dealer invoice & the C plan IS 2.87% off dealer invoive. I can show you the policy. Sure - a destination fee tacked on after the discount. Are you telling me that Nissan is the only company that has this fee?

I give up......no, all have a destination fee.....earlier you said A plan is 4.3% off dealer inv. but it's not........Because the destination fee is deducted then the 4.3% is applied, then a dealer commision is added back......sooo that does not equal 4.3% off dealer invoice, do the math........... You do not just take dealer invoice and take off 4.3% and that equals the price you get on an A plan.....the destination fee is in the dealer invoice price as in all

I have owned just about everything made in trucks.. I would buy a ford.

i fully understand the math lane. our vpp starts with the specified % off dealer invoice - period.
what i don't understand is why you keep wanting to talk about dest. fees. as you know dest fees are one of several. everyone pays these fees so it's really not even applicable in this conversation. The diff is that if joe the plumber walks in off the street, not only does he pay the fees, he doesn't get the discount off invoice, especially without a lot of haggling with silver tongued mathmaticians. again - i'll say that the discount is not the best part of the vpp. the best part is not having to haggle with a car salesman. to many folks, that's priceless!

did you start off telling your potential customers about the "fees" that were gonna be tacked on? i bet not, but if you did, i can see why you no longer sell cars.

Don't know about any incientive plans, value packages, or "best buys" at the moment. Whether you pick a Ford, Toyota, GMC/Chevy, Nissan, or a Dodge is up to you. All in all, you will be signing the payment over every month so you must enjoy it LOL.

That said...
Ford...I have owned 2. Both at 80K have inherited some 'type' of problem.
GMC...Brother owns one. Good truck and is still rolling on with minor repairs at 150K +
The same token: Buddy has a 08, the craftsmanship and or work that went in it isn't the same.
Chevy...Good riding truck, as with the GMC/ same.
Dodge: Family friend owns one (new), he enjoys dodges and they typically give him little trouble. Higher miles they rattle, and are generally 'noisy' to my ears.
Toyota...Making a huge apperance all over the delta running the turn rows that were once occupied by ford/chevy. As one farmer said, "I work on equipment all day, I enjoy not having to work on my truck". Toyota has set the bar so to speak with the tacoma, camry, and I soon see the tundra.
Titan...No comment, have no knowledge w/ them or know anyone w/ one.
