Then again still proud of em. Went from last 4 out to SEC tourney champs and got to go dancing. Not bad at all. Btw when do the bulldogs play again? I flipped thru my direct TV guide and never saw them on the list of NIT games?????

Beat ourselves. Can't go 10-21 from the FT line and win. Hit 75% and its game over. Can't give up a 5 point play with 3 minutes remaining either. The non-call on Henderson was BS. Should have been 2 FT's and pressure on La Salle. Proud of how far we got, but mad that we + refs beat us.

And there you have it. Make free throws!!! Do not leave it to refs. It was the bracket of a lifetime for them and they just blew it.

Get you about 3 more of those SEC Tournament Championships, 10 more SEC regular season championships, two more Sweet 16's, and a Final Four Appearance and holler back at me. Good season though, Bears.

My bad. Forgot about that basketball powerhouse down south...... And to think I actually pulled for them in that final four appearance. What was I thinking? Geeez

That may have been a foul, but the Rebels caught a break a few minutes before that. The ref said that the Lasalle player stepped out of bounds when he was touching the ball, but the replay showed differently. OM got the ball, but it never should have been whistled out of bounds and Lasalle would have kept the ball.

All that to say, it goes both ways.

Y'all don't care about basketball anyways. At least that's what I've heard for years.

Saw one of the Big guys either Buckner or Hollaway air ball free throws last night and in the last game. Cant capitalize on those FT opportunities if you cant hit the rim. I get missing the shot but not the entire rim, basket, backboard etc. Anyway the airball free throw didnt lose the game for them but I though that was interesting to see a D1 player airball free throws in consecutive games.
Good run for the Rebs. Let AK stick around, I was up for letting him go after the late season meltdown but who would take it if they fired him. Perhaps many of the top contenders would be reluctant to accept a position under an AD that just fired a coach for doing what was mentioned in an earlier post(single season win record , SEC Tourney Champs and NCAA Appearance). Short of undefeated and a national championship we could not ask for much more this year.
