Well, it appears now that my extreme skepticism over the man-made global warming hysteria is picking up a whole lotta steam within the scientific community as more and more scientists are speaking out about this nonsense. Finally some freaking sanity. The gig is just about up. This will go down as the greatest hoax ever perpetrated upon mankind.

How many times do I have to say it: FOLLOW THE CO2?

Whoever came up with the phrase "global warming" blew it. What counts is the problem- too much CO2. Twice as much as 200 years ago, more than anytime in the last 500,000 to 2 MM years.

Ever occurred to yall that mammals- including humans- evolved in an oxygen rich world and that many of our current maladies may be the result of less oxygen and more CO2 in the air we breathe.

Bottomline: Focus on chemistry, not weather.

As for Obama, I was a staunch supporter of McCain but in case you did not notice, Johnny Mc went socialist too in favor of the so-called bailout. IMO, it is the bailout that signifies how bad off the US is, rather than BOb's election. IN short, we have more and more socialists immigrating into the country everyday from socialist countries in Latin America and Eastern Europe, many Americans believe that more government can help them and many more Americans want the government to take care of them. As such, our goose is essentially cooked unless something changes and but quick.

Fact is that the US has become a socialist country and that as a constitution based, states rights progressive, I am in danger of extinction. Perhaps the greens, libertarians, and constitution party can form a legitimate third party and break the choke hold of the current two party system. Otherwise, whether Demogogue or Repukeican, the end result is always more government spending which invariably equals more socialism. Note that even Reagan did not SHRINK government spending, he merely slowed the rate of growth. I believe we are screwed and that the Founding Fathers must be rolling over in their graves.
