the 201 ducks have adjusted to the new break. 200 more will be moved to the same break in a few days

most people i have talked to will wait until November 1 to start pumping. it would cost a fortune to start pumping water in this drought right now. i think the end result would be an increase in next years duck hole prices if it actually came to pumping with absolutely no help from mother nature. the 14 day forecast is very dry.

Hey Tom, let me know the first time yall kill a duck that doesn't have his toe clipped and I will keep all the ones that I kill that have the toes clipped. We will see how good your strategy is.

my neighbor is very concerned that the 1st time the temperature gets in the low 30's, the ducks will fly south for the winter.........like maybe Miami

i will tell him what you said, even though i do not see what that would prove............better yet, why don't you ask him for 50 ducks and put them in one of your holes for 4 or 5 weeks and see which of your holes ends up with more "non-clipped toe" ducks.

while you are home in bed sleeping like a baby, the clipped toe ducks will be calling in the fights from up north.
