Re: Great steakhouses
For Mccomb area: Dixie Springs Cafe--blackened ribeye (reasonable), the Caboose--NY strip (pricey). Both are awesome hunks o' meat.

Ruth Chris is good
Butcher Block in Memphis is pretty good
Carnival De Brazil at IP Casino is good
I thought Como Steakhouse was ok but not anything special, not top of the line anyway

Re: Great steakhouses
Went to Does last night and got a 32 oz. bone in ribeye. One of the best steaks I have ever had. They haven't always had the ribeye, but it is the bomb.
I have been to a number of different Ruths Chris, Mortons and the Palms steakhouses. Never had a bad steak at any of them but some seem to be better than others. The Ruths Chris is Memphis seems to have better steaks than many of the other Ruths Chris'.
I've also been to a bunch of the steakhouses in Vegas which are duplicates of the famous New York or LA restaurants. Gallaghers of New York was okay, but not great. Strip House was awesome and CUT was also really really good. At CUT they have more choices of beef than you can imagine. You not only choose what cut of beef you want, you choose whether you want grass fed or grain fed and you choose how many days of dry aging you want. The longer it ages the price goes up exponentially.

Como is really good
Bourbon Mall used to be
Doe's is ok
Anthony's in West Point is really good
Also Ted's Montana Grill in ATL is good. Get the buffalo ribeye, you won't be disappointed.
Pitkin (spp??) County Steakhouse in Aspen was really good.
There is one more place in Aspen that served a 26 oz bone in ribeye that was absolutely awesome!

Ate a ribeye at the Station House behind the Choo Choo Hotel in Chattanooga that was really good. Daughter had prime rib that I took a bite of and it was delicious too.
Are we gonna get wet?
