Unless something has changed, he pretty much goes every year.

Just curious, cause this article paints a different picture.

I think this is a prime opportunity to bury the hatchet. Polk is MSU baseball in so many ways. Cohen has really got that chip off of his shoulder this year after being fairly abraisive the first few years. I see him complimenting other teams and talking with less arrogance which bolds well for him in the future I think. Cohen probably had to come in with a drill sergeant mentality at first. Huge pressure there following Polk and the scenario of RP throwing a fit over Raffo not getting job added to the pressure and probably hurt a little as well. I could see Cohen reaching out to his mentor at this point and RP taking it in as well. Pretty sure RP has been to Dudy Noble once since he left, but someone can correct me if that is not true.

Polk did a lot more than just throw a fit when Cohen was hired instead of Raffo. He has had plenty of time to admit he was wrong and admit that Cohen is the right man for MSU baseball. I know I was not sure about coach Cohen and coach Thompson the first couple of years but they have stood strong and done a great job. Polk owes the entire Bulldog nation an apology for trying to sabotage the program. He could have contacted the Clarion Ledger at any time over the last 4 years and given an interview and an apology. We can remember the good he did for the program the first time he was coach and honor him for that but this world series run is all about coach Cohen and the kids he recruited. Polk should stay home.

I'm a State fan but about to be a bigger one now that my son will be start at MSU this fall. Can someone tell me about the fallout with RP? I didn't know there were any bitter feelings on either side. Seems to me that this team has accomplished something he never did and he should be pretty damn proud to be affiliated with the team and MSU baseball history. Why did he resign and come back a year later? What's up with that?

Memphis radio this morning said that Polk was at Ameritrade last night.
