......actually, just looked at brackett for the first time. LaSalle beat Kansas State.....Very winable game for the Rebels!

Even more interesting, beat LaSalle and you play the winner of Wichita State and a VERY overrated Gonzaga team. Let me go ahead and call an Elite 8 appearance for the Rebels!

......after that......looks like the Rebels will face Ohio State......better pull for the Buckeyes to lose, but with the way the Rebels are playing, I think they can win that game

I think Wis shot mid 20% from floor and we definitely caught a lucky break...I think they lost it more than we won it.......our slow starts are nerve racking,.

Great win for the Rebs...... But lets not get ahead of ourselves we haven't seen an "ole miss moment" since Starkville and Lasalle would be perfect oppurtunity for that. Happy Happy Happy for AK and the boys but we gotta play (and shoot) much better than we did today to move on.

I gotta disagree with you on that.....the reason they shot like that was because they didn't have many good looks - OM played some damn good defense the whole game....Wisconsin's bigs acted like they were scared of Buckner and Holloway - they're not a good shooting team or good offensive team in general....to me it was your typical SEC/Big 10 matchup where the SEC team just has too many athletes and they're not used to seeing that. If Henderson didn't have such a terrible first half shooting, missing some wide open 3s, it could've be a lot worse.

Watching Wisconsin was like watching girls basketball....slow as hell, can't jump and half the team had a set shot.....and I've never seen a guy shoot an actual jump shot when shooting a free throw like that one guy did for Wisconsin, WTF!?

That 6'-10" Carrot Top was a stud for the Badgers - bwhaaaaaaaa!! They got outmuscled down low and that was the difference.

Don't wanna get ahead of ourselves, but an elite 8 appearance doesn't sound crazy right now.

.....looking at the Ohio State / Iowa State game today........Iowas State is no pushover! The Cyclones could knock off Ohio State which makes the road to the final 4 a little easier.

At the end of the day, I still believe that Florida is one of the best teams in the country.......and the Rebels easily took care of Florida. That being said, Rebels have shown when they are hot......and they are hot! May not matter who they play, final 4 may very well be in their future.

Man, you're right about that....Iowa St. is giving Ohio St all they can handle....I looked at their schedule and can't believe they weren't a lot higher than a 10 seed. They're damn good.

Henderson is the Ole Miss version of honey badger. I think he takes it a little farther than honey badger did but I think that is because of the close fan interaction in basketball. I hope Ole Miss makes a good run and proves that maybe the SEC was under rated.
