From what I hear Spurlock is the real deal, but many things can be said about things during Spring practice and what not as it is an entire different thing when you are on that field in front of all those people with all their expectations on your back.

Thing is, this is inter-collegiate football and each year is a different. That is also why I prefer college sports over the pro's. Pro, you can buy a new team each year or buy what you need...college, new team each year.

Also, it does not matter if the #1 team in the nation is in the SEC and that team is playing another SEC that has not won a game all year you can beat it is going to be a dog fight! SEC is top notch when it comes to inter-conference rivalary and that also makes it the best conference around.

Ole Miss. has owned Miss. State the past few years, but if you go back far enough in history there are years where Miss. State has owned Ole Miss., but the best thing about it is there is always next year. The only part about this thread and others that GH22 has commented on is that he can't be man enough to say "Yep, you all got us fair and square this year in _____." He just can't seem to do it. After football season he had mentioned "Wait till baseball season!" Well, baseball season has come and gone and Ole Miss. won out. Did he concede to the loss? Nope...just keeps mentioning about this year or that year that Miss. State did win. Heck, if we can pick and choose when what team won this or that there would only be good years to talk about as we would ignore the bad years.
