It's not that Alabama won one game...it's the way in which it was done. Total rushing yards allowed by Clemson was ZERO. "Thunder and Lightning" aka "Fog and Drizzle" could not muster much of anything. They are a talented tandem, but when your are being dominated at the line of scrimmage, there's little hope of any running.

As the Aub's discount the win, remember, the Aub's played them last and Clemson had 9 returning offensive starters back. I believe the Aub's won in OT by 3 (13-10)? I could be wrong, and not willing to look it up.

Yeah, at the game today and w/o the special teams and a few missed FG by them we would have been screwed!!!!!!!!!The defense has looked good and not letting them in the endzone.........Anyone know why Tiffin didn't start in the 1st Half........No Smart booty comments either

Tiffin was "rocked" on one of the kickoffs and obviously was a little woozy. Offense struggled against a very physical Tulane team. Maybe there's something to be said for Tulane and spending the entire week in B'ham due to Gustav, no classes, just football preparation. They attempted 50 passes, all of which were 5-8 yarders and their qb was very composed and accurate.

Alabama did what it had to do to control and win the game. Did nothing to lose it.

Definitely a bit scary to see the offense only put one TD on the board yesterday. Hope we get over this one and move on, 2 down and a few more to go.
