That explains the reason I ended up with two jacked up reeds and one that was ok.

Got in tonight from a Dallas business trip, and the box was waiting on the kitchen counter! Don't know if Robb just sent me the best one, or they're all this good. But boys, this call is for real. It can do anything you can. Going straight on the lanyard.

Thanks Robb. I'm seriously impressed. And thanks GH22 for making this happen.

for exmaple you could kill a 4 greenheads (two banded), a mallard/black cross, and a mallard/gaddy cross and smash a hot blonde on the way back to the ramp and call it a hell of a day
and THAT is a duck hunt.

Got mine yesterday. Very pleased with the sound quality and how they turned out.

Thanks to all those involved in the process.

So now that those of us that bought em have had some time, what 's everyone's comments on the acorn shaker?

Here's my take. The AC is a versatile low volume call. It has a rich, nasally tone. It sounds just like a contented hen. The call feeds easily, will bounce, will squeal, and stays true to tone when you pour the air to it.

The acorn shaker bumped another call off my lanyard to start the year. I think it'll be a good complement to the DC and Gaston Timber.
Never assume.
