We got 15 shovelers, 7 mallards, and 3 specks Saturday. We had a shootout with the shovelers while it was coming a flood and lightning was everywhere Saturday evening We were almost out of shells before the mallards started coming around 4pm. We got a couple of them before we ran out of shells. Overall it was a heck of a hunt and I can only imagine what it would have been like if we would have waited on the mallards and had a few more shells. Definitely learned a few lessons.
