Stanley was recruited by Nutt his last year at Arkansas. Nutt would never offer Nathan a scholly at Arkansas. He had Pick and an in stater Jim Youngblood committed.(Pick is starting at Kansas this year) Nutt figures his !@# is gone after getting embarrassed at Tenn. Suddenly, Pick decommits but Nutt never offers Stanley. Arkansas fans are stratching their heads cause the kid from just across the border is a Razorback fan and had been since he was little. He stood out at Ark's camps and everything, no offer. Tyler Wilson had done even better and Nutt wouldn't even think about him. He offers Stanley farly quickly at Ole Moiiss. Hmmmm. You think Nutt was tanking Arkansas' recruiting? Then Pick comes out tells the reason he decommited from Arkansas was that Nutt told him he wasn't going to be there during the dayum season. Yeah, we hate the sorry peice of crap.Wait till he screws Ole Miss over, and he's started that already, you will too.

Not wee bit touchy, you're behaviour like a dayum child is annoying and obnoxious...he isn't your coach, he serviced your school for 10 years and brought you more success than you would've had otherwise...respect that and if you are truly glad he is gone and hate him, forget about him! How is that not obvious to you that you are acting like a jealous high school girl over everything Ole Miss since Houston Nutt came to Oxford? You're a grown man (I assume), act like one numbnutz...

I don't buy you Nathan Stanley crap either. If you are stupid enough to think Houston Nutt would offer a QB at one job and not at another, I don't have anything else to say to you. Success is success regardless of the employer, if Nutt didn't want a player on talent, then he wouldn't offer him period...anything else is stupid message board crap you've scraped up from somewhere else.

also, if Stanley didn't fit into his recruiting at Arkansas b/c of other players on roster or on the recruiting board, but he was the type incoming player Ole Miss needed, how is that a knock on his talent?

It's also absurd and stupid that you keeping compare the recruiting and the football program of Arkansas to Ole Miss as though Ark is upper echelon or some $#!+? Who do you think Arkansas is? Are you that blind? You aren't an upper echelon program, you are no more relavent than Ole Miss and in the grand scheme of college football you haven't achieved more, you have less tradition, your a b@st@rd child of the freaking conference!...so you just look ignorant with your unfounded arrogance. I don't know the numbers, but if you throw some stupid ass statistic that shows Ark has won more games than Ole Miss by some obscure number...you will only be proving my point...you haven't accomplished $#!+ but running off the coach that actually gave you ANY reason to be relavent, period!

Oh good lawd Camlock, you all kinds of out of sorts over this.

Image

that schedule still looks good enough to win 7 and play Houston in the Liberty.

I'm just glad the man that wanted to try out Mallet at TE in camp is your coach.

Ok here are some things i do know.

1. My source sucks. I need a new source.

2. I wear thongs so my panties are not in a wad.

3. Gumbo - Always running Nutt down and then makes a comment about maybe Ole Miss can win 7 and play in the Liberty Bowl. Wasn't that the same bowl the Hogs played in last year? Thats funny there I dont care who you are.

4. I think Stanley will do a good job at QB. The problem comes in with the fact we only have 2 QB's and now it will be hard to play Mackey in the wild rebel. Does Masoli not getting cleared hurt the Rebels? Maybe Maybe Not! Only time will tell. But one thing is for sure if Stanley and Mackey both get hurt we are in deep deep deep dodo.

5. And regardless of who plays QB I never have to hear a word from the great poser Webbmaster.

What do you think it takes for a QB to be better than both QB at Miss State? You quarterbacks couldn't start at most non-BCS schools! Stanley was a 3 star recruit with numerous BCS offers, he has size, arm and projects as a very good pro style QB. Lack of experience does not mean he has no talent. You don't have a SEC caliber QB on campus at Miss State!

Just FYI, but both Chris Relf and Tyler Russel were 3 star recruits and Russel was recruited by Mississippi.

Here is WHAT CAN HAPPEN, and probablly will happen.

I don't know all the logistics but in a nutt shell here goes.

Masoli not cleared, happened.

Rebs appeal. happened.

Appeal is denied. prolly gonna happen

Masoli can file an injuction against the NCAA which will in turn allow him to play immediately until his court date, They can not legally stop him from playing after an injuction is filed until the court hearing. obviously this will put him out till at least week 3. What effect will this have on the Rebs if the court date happens and the law suit is ruled in favor of ncaa and he is ruled inelligible, i couldn't begin to tell you. BUT I DO KNOW, this is a strong possibility and this would allow him to play this year. OR he could just sit out and play next year. Will any of this happen? hellifiknow. we'll see...

oh and for all you rebel's piss on PETE BOONE. he had 2 hours to get the appeal filed, the dumb ass didn't even tell the coaching staff what was going on until 4 hours later. IF i was coach i would wanna knock his teeth out for not telling me that when it involved my players and my team

camlock wrote:call me old fashion and whatever, but regardless (as I posted in page 1) I completely agree with the NCAA rulings on Masoli. The intent of the rule is not to provide a way out of disciplinary action, which is exactly what he and Nutt are trying to do. If he wants to stay in school and play next year, when he can actually achieve the academics he claims are the reason for transfering...then he has earned his keep and the NCAA will allow that. Houston Nutt wants the be in the "people life changing business" then keep him in Oxford two years and make him earn his keep and live out the mistakes, then he's deserving of the second chance.

All the PC liberal BS bed wetters in Oxford wanting to get lawyers involved saying the NCAA has no precedence for this, are the same ones that are ok with our government and all other facets of our society circumventing everything that our country was founded upon. That's just my opinion...and I'm a die hard Ole Miss Rebel fan...good ole fashion logic can't be used in our country anymore, it's a shame...this might be one the only times that really applies to the NCAA.

Those pannies in a big enough wad for you Bully, that enough garbage spat to allow you to turn the other cheek at my "ridiculous" opinions on sports on none other than a sports forum? The nerve of me!

well said and i am officially the biggest fan of Nathan Stanley to light it up and then flip NUTT off.(except in November  )

He graduated Oregon with a Sociology degree...he enrolled in a graduate Parks and Recreation degree program at Ole Miss...

Laugh all you want, but I have a good friend that played college baseball and got a parks and recreation degree in the process...he is now the director of parks and recreation for his home town parish in the Louisiana, and I would say there are many many people would envy his job...
