Well - I had my debut hunt @ the infamous BDDC on Saturday. Planned on hunting there opening morning until SOMEONE (Jody) told me that we had ducks based on his ride around on Thursday. As it turns out, I’m pretty sure that SOMEONE mistook clogs of dirt for ducks! Should have known better when he said "yall's field is one of the few holding ducks"
So anyway, back to the BDDC....after missing opening morning, our group killed a mixed bag of scaup, spoonies, ruddy's, mergies & even a bonus canada! Had a 6 year old in out group that was beside himself all morning. Had a large time. I’ll post pics tonight of him holding the goose that was literally almost as big as he.

Hate I didn't get to see any of you guys. I'm pretty sure I saw driveby when he droveby me sat morning. DIB - got your voicemail, but for some reason your number did not come through. I tried to flag you down one time @ the 90° by the sanctuary. I think it was you anyway – don’t you have a white Chevy? I was in a white Titan. I'll be around all season though - my camp is just up the levee from there so stop by sometimes. Joe "wetdirt" is even welcome

Oh Crap!!!! I didn't realize Canada season was open. It's not over here in Bammy and I thought it wasn't there. My group could have killed 6 of those suckers rather easily. I won't make that mistake again.
eSJay, I was in the pewter chevy with the grandpaw camper on it.

I was on that ride and can confirm the ducks were in there.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

Ssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh esjay......don't mention the word sanctuary on here, them coot killers will be all over it!! Yep that was me in the single cab white chevy with the st.st. dog box in the back. Wished I knew where you guys were Fri. night as my brothers camp was boring as chit. 'bout froze to death in that old house.........

I saw you Friday evening Driveby..........didn't know that was you. We came in late Fri. after noon and went over to the west side when we saw y'alls trucks on the east side. Didn't want to screw ya'll up so we tried to stear clear. We didn't kill crap that afternoon.

Hunted one of my brothers holes Sat. morning and did pretty good after sleeping in until 7 or so........Killed 8 gads and one spoonie..... I came on back Sat. evening, so no Sunday report from me.

Y'all let me know when you want to hit them again.

we had a group of 12 canadas coming from our backs very low but they banked hard right which only gave the guy on the end a shot. i saw you and yo grandpaw camper. sounded like yall had a good shoot on that end.

EsJay,
I'll keep my scouting reports to myself next time. Where do yall get your swimming dirt clods cause being from the area and having a small farm (with lots of dirt clods) I have never seen them swim before! :D

I stand by my initial statement that yall were holding ducks. Now I can't make miracles happen, its up to yall to kill em

Anyone headin down this weekend shoot me a message and we'll meet up.

Will do, leave that "wine" at home though...my hunting party Saturday morning was very, very slow reacting and wouldn't quit complaining of the ponds spinning :D :D :D
