I like my finisher blind, whether I am sleeping or hunting out of it! I did not hunt nearly enough this season. Just did not have the time to scout like I wanted and couldn't get away from work as much as I would have liked! Ready to catch some fish, shoot some geese and get after em' this coming season!

Some people have been known to start snoring in their layout blind, and you have to throw a shell at their head to wake them up...... 8)

I killed 133 ducks, but I would have to dig around to find the days hunted.

11 days, 54 birds bagged...1 day in December, 10 days in January beginning on the 12th...56% mallards versus long term average of 48% (since 1980)...No bands this year so the no band count is up to 93 birds...Personal record of 650 birds without a band was ended last season (1/17/04) on a hen mallard...Sue me for shooting a hen but its hard to kill bands in the south Delta...I took an 11 year old on youth day that shot 38 times and did not cut a feather...He had never hunted with a shotgun before so we will hit the Gun Club this summer...

Cant tell you how many days I deer hunted cause I dont need my wife finding that out, but I will tell you I took 2 of the 4 shooters (125" or bigger) that I saw...A 126"-128" 8 point in the Delta and a 128"-130" 8 point near Raymond...One on 12/23 and the other on 12/25....Add the ducks and deer to the pronghorn buck I took in WY a day after the Ole Miss debacle and it was a great season (not including doves which we wont talk about).

MEMO TO GREENHEAD 22: Yeah the Rebels lost to a high school team out in Laramie but at least we punked the Maroons in the Egg Bowl and got rid of Cutcliffe so shut up already. And dont talk any basketball or baseball smack. There is football season and the offseason- simple as that.

I hunted 42 days and killed 71 ducks and 36 geese. Most of the ducks came from the Free State and all the geese came from Tunica.
I think I killed 22 of the ducks in tunica.
My worse harvest # year since 97
