Not me but working in the medical field I see folks everyday that need it and a ton that abuse it. Lost a dear friend that was on this board because of chronic pain issues etc. My point was that the “crisis” isn’t what the media etc play it up to be and the people that really need help get screwed and have only a few options. Unfortunately the reality is in the studies done it will show an increase in people taking things into their on hands when they can’t get relief.
My wife works with a lot of head/neck cancer pt's and she says a lot of her patients are going to a pain management clinic in LA where they can use medical marijuana and they seem a lot better off than those on the pills that they are prescribing.

All those patients must be self employed or disabled etc. Most jobs do random drug screening especially if hurt on the job and since marijuana is illegal it would be immediate termination. There is no easy answer to chronic pain issues. But those that suffer and have to also work for a living illegal drugs aren’t the answer.

The last issue they need is to be in chronic pain and loss of income. Recipe for disaster.

Looks like there will be a run-off between Tater Salad and Waller. I hope Waller gets some of Fosters votes and wins.
I will be voting for Jay Hughes come November, to hell with the snake.

It’s Tate’s to lose. May get interesting if foster endorses Waller though. From the numbers either one will beat hood.

This done got interesting.

Nobody told Taggart nor Waller that they weren't supposed to be in these fights. And they keep acting like they want to win.

Hopefully, they'll get the endorsements of those who didn't make the runoff. That could help to make these real cat fights.

Pass the popcorn.

Not that I care for him but Tate is the only one running on not raising taxes.

politicians will say anything to get elected and then say everything but why they did the exact opposite from what they campaigned on, once elected...ideologies change once in office and part of the political system. either that, or they're completely inept because of trying to stay true to their word.

My question is, what is he going to do about the infrastructure issue facing the state? Bryant closed 100 bridges because they were unsafe. MDOT has a long list of projects they say are needed but don't have money available to start, much less complete. And hasn't he been talking about bringing teachers salaries up to the "southeastern average" for a couple of decades now? Just curious.

MDOT does have projects that need completing that are not able to be completed due to funding. The gas tax is one of the only fair taxes in America. You pay taxes on what you consume. It’s quite simple. Tate doesn’t want to raise gas tax but he is also the one who wanted a change order done to have stuff done around his neighborhood.

Just think about it. Tate didn’t win the counties around his home.

It’s amazing how many don’t understand inflation especially when it concerns infrastructure. I guess that a product of our great education system.

Ok. The Republican Runoff election is tomorrow. As St. Alfonse Capone would say, "Vote early and vote often."

Well what do you all think about the election and the voting machines changing votes to Tate Reeves?
I wonder how the election commission can declare a winner when it's proven that there were machines changing the votes to Tate. No telling how many votes were changed but went unnoticed?? What say yall

I have a call into the SOS election folks, the attorney's are supposed to call me back with the answer.......

according to dilbert, yesterday on supertalk, it was only 16 or 19 that had voted before the facebook video was recorded/posted. that was just at the one polling place that the video was made at and haven't heard how many other machines were affected.

only 16 or 19 that people noticed. I would be more concerned with how many people didn't notice it. It's also "funny" how all the reports of the malfunctions were switching votes from Waller to Reeves.... Doesn't appear to be too random as it seems to be more one sided. So i guess since only 16 or 19 cases were brought to light those votes wouldn't have mattered so lets just move on nothing to see here
