Pull an OJ. Get off the criminal case but get hammered in civil case. Now file civil action against the broker.

I apologize if my last post sounded bitter. And thanks for holding me accountable for it.eSJay wrote:I'm sorry, but I'm not really buying what you're trying to sell here!jacksbuddy wrote:

I did not want to leave the furniture. That decision was made by the wife. Neither of us expected any sort of shenanigans to happen, especially since we had explicit instructions for the professional realtors who were showing the house and it is in an area with a relatively low crime rate.deltadukman wrote:I have a question. Why would you leave heirloom quality furniture in a house in Clinton that was for sale and being shown to people you don't know? I'm not saying whos in the right or wrong, but something to ponder. I would have left the stuff I wanted people to steal.
Also, isn't it a bit slanderous to be bashing their name about when you haven't yet proven without a shadow of a doubt that it was the realtors fault?
Ain't that the truth. Just because a judge didn't convict doesn't mean facts aren't facts. The neighbor's sworn statement is plenty evidence for me. This is ridiculous and should be heard far and wide. Let them sue JacksBuddy for libel if they want. Doubt that will happen.........jacksbuddy wrote: And it isn't slanderous when it is the truth. Please read my previous posts. I did not name any names until facts had been established.
I certainly hope they don't. That could seriously ruin my weekend.Smoke68 wrote:...Let them sue JacksBuddy for libel if they want. Doubt that will happen.........
