This just in from turd town....
I know it must be a nasty rumor, but I'm hearing lil nicky & lane are toying with the idea of a HUNH offense complete with sideline playcards featuring teabags & images of updyke, ect....
It's on.....
Bye
They actually ran a decent amount of no huddle last year but not really hurry up. It was mainly so they could see the defense line up and adjust play calls. That is why Kiffin was on the sidelines.

LSU had its last team scrimmage in Tiger Stadium over the weekend. As per anything with Miles, no one knows much of anything. Sounds like the defense is playing better across the defensive line...which is a little counter intuitive, since that should be the weakest part of the team going against the strongest (o-line). Not sure what to make of that at the moment.

My source who played at state,
Coached high school ball in Florida
And goes to most of the practices
And is usually spot on in his assessment
Says we look good everywhere but on the o line
Which on turn scares the shiet outta me
Field goal unit has questions as well

What is up with our field goal units being such a gamble the last few years??? We have had some great ones pre-Dan, but the last few years has been rough for the extra point/field goal group.

Looks like Mills for LSU is out for at least 6 weeks...he had to have surgery. Maybe we will have him for the Bama game. Luckily, LSU is pretty deep at DB.
It appears that Brandon Harris will be the starter for LSU against McNeese next weekend.
Name To Remember Coming Out of Camp: Derrius Guice (pronounced Gice...like ice with a "g").

Well, since my last post, it has been announced that the LSU OC has prostate cancer and Les Miles missed his press conference this morning with an undisclosed illness that resulted in him going to the hospital.

Not a fan of LSU or Miles but I do not wish any physical harm on them. Hope both coaches come out okay. That is a stressful enough job without extra health issues.

What a weird dude. I have to reluctantly admit that he fits the fanbase perfectly though.

Chad Kelly wins the starting QB job at Ole Miss. Not much surprise there.

The ole Rent a QB program. How many does that make that transfered in to take the starting spot over guys who have been there? Masoli, Jev-on Snead, and now Machine Gun Kelly? Am I leaving any others out?

add Wallace, randall mackey, barry brunetti, and schaffer to that list. I'm sure I'm missing some others

Wallace and Randall Mackey (hell Mackey signed with Ole Miss out of HS and had to go JUCO first) were JUCO transfers with no former D1 playing time that played 3 seasons at Ole Miss...that's a career not a rent a player...
Brunetti and Schaffer can be added to the list.

QB is the most important position on the field. I wish Les Miles would rent-a-QB once in a while (I guess he did with Mettenberger and he was probably LSUs best quarterback in decades).
I think Kelly, given the amazing receiving group he has at his disposal, will have an tremendous year. If he doesn't, look for Ol' Shea Patterson to start game one next year as a true freshman. I also assume that one or both of the back-ups at OM will now look to transfer at year's end with Patterson coming to campus in the Spring. Neither Buchanan nor Kincade have a shot in the world at playing time in the 2016 season at Ole Miss.
I am actually a little surprised Kincade made it back to campus. The rumor I heard from inside the OM program at the end of the season was that he was looking to transfer to TCU. Maybe TCU didn't want him.

Hey DM77 - What's your take on Corso McShay & Herbstreit picking LSU to play in the title game?
Obviously I haven’t been reading close enough, since I "assumed" LSU would struggle some this year. Maybe I’ve just been listening to the pessimistic side of the fanbase too much

.
What say you mudd?
