well chop, as you know c-murder killed one friday and one saturday. he hunted for not even a hour and killed two! then i took my buddy from Natty sunday monin' and he killed the second turkey i called in because we spooked the big dude earlier in the monin'.

that's five hunts at the crestwoods and five kills for me!i don't know how that figures in to the competition but i know i am winning watching my buddies enjoy it! Started to shoot my bow, gonna gig one this weekend!

Don't get to cocky, Shorty killed again Sunday morning! No to mention the fact that the chop will kill every turkey left on that zoo come this weekend! :D :D :D You better warn the turkeys I'm coming, and I'm a little upset I've only killed one bird when I've gone 9 out of 10 mornings! Something is going to pay!!!!!

I haven't heard a single bird since opening day, and I have seen no birds period. Today while driving to work I nearly ran in a ditch. There was a group of hens out in the middle of a field and in the middle of the hens was a big white head glowing like a neon sign. He even strutted for me while I watched for a few minutes. I almost called in sick to work today.
I can't wait til the weekend.

melvin killed a bird this moning in the nw corner at about 11. dad said they heard 12-15 at doe hill and a couple of them hollered all the way to 8:30. he walked into the nw corner field to get the buggy and there were 2 struttin in it so he just backed the buggy out got melvin and they proceeded to kill one. don't know how big it was.don't know when it will air yet. me and c-murder went to s.g. today and saw a hen with a 6-8 inch beard  but no gobs.

Well, Well, Well! MS Outdoors killed my bird before I could get down there this weekend! I'm going to have to talk to old Melvin about that one!

Looking forward to this weekend. Went to Slay as the video man this morning, heard a couple, but nothing brewing in the killing department. :(

Send me that pic and tell Gar Gar to shoot straight and he might kill a turkey!

Well congrats Steve!!! Don't kill all those public land turkeys, some of us poor folks want to kill at least one!

That's it for your season, 3 is the limit. I guess you'll just have to call me one up this weekend so I can get my limit and we can start crappie fishing! :D

Shorty is still in the lead, and has witnessed 7 kills, as of this morning when Jones dust-rolled one.

Happy Hunting, and I still want that pic emailed ASAP!
