AQ,

Everybody knows DU helps private landowners. You guys helped me, but some with DU have said, "Oh no, we don't do that!"

As for the corn, no pic's... Just have contacts in the know.
All of this is just splitting hairs. It 's not just about DU. What about the USF&W snip-its? Maybe they were doing it. We all just want to know the truth and why.

It is all about newly created habitat in areas that did not exist before. It's about closed refuges and private sanctuaries.

How DU chapters did not have banquets this past year? Over a 100!!!

How many will not held in 2004????

Oh, by the way---a record year in dollars collected for DU I understand.

Now, help yourselves and get some of us back with you. But we need some help with all these closed areas holding so many unhuntable ducks.

What's the problem with DU helping private landonwners? That's where a whole lot of the best habitat exists...

Not a problem Hambone, just don't say in one breath your not doing it and then do it.

For instance, in some prior post DU says not helping XXX landowner create a private sancturary, when all the time they had given water structures.

Again read my earlier post. DU can help us with the bigger problem if they would. Get some of these closed areas on refuges, etc. open.
What ducks we do have just sit on these area and never move. Again for most of this season we had 150,000 ducks sitting on the Yazoo complex. Never got very far from those closed areas. The scenaro is not going to change unless we as hunters get some help from those that can change it.. USF&W just happens to be the target and DU is the bullet.

They can help us!!!!!
