OK is a stretch chop but I said that based on two things.
They aint here
They is a crapload in OK and they has been for several years now.

The point really is -- they aint HERE

and no matter WHERE they are, the migration HAS changed.

I think you guys who insisit it hasn't look at things on a much longer time line, which implies that the current scenario in only temporary and will return back to the "good ole days" when the conditions favor it.

That is fine, but it doesn't change the fact that for NOW, they aint HERE, and if they aint here, they have to be somewhere else.

With La boasting 3.4 mil while ark only showing 240,ooo, that sure makes it look like it aint changed at ALL, they just aint stoppin anymore, which really and truly is ALSO a change.

We talked about it very briefly once. To test the theory out, go find some new ducks on some hole and creep up on them from upwind and notice how they get real skittish even if they havn't seen or heard you and then they get up and give that aggravating : quack . . . . quack . . . . quack . . . as they fly off. Ever notice how sometimes the ducks light in your spread and don't give a hoot about the fake ducks floating around and other times they get real nervous, I think that some of these times it is cause they wind you.

Of course this theory probably can't be validated by a scientific study, so you just have to make up your own mind.

What about how the ducks find mast crops in freshly flooded timber. Plus, they say ducks can't see too good far off, just up close. If so, how do they know a cut cotton field from a cut bean field?

Benny if there is 3.4 million birds in LA right now I'll kiss your a**. NO WAY!! I am not convinced the big ducks ever got down here in normal numbers, much the same way everyone else is talking norht of us. Again NO WAY that many birds over here right now.

Benny has come out and let the world know what is going on and being completely honest with everyone. There is one thing about Benny, like him or not, he ALWAYS tells the truth.
