Well its suppose to be high 70's and low 80's down here all week and the night temps are around 57-60 so it shouldn't be long before they turn on here. I am going to go Wed. and Thurs. and possibly Friday morning but I have to meet mom and dad in Jacksonville friday night so I will have to make a short trip that day.

deltadukman wrote:It is actually located in Waveland right off of 90. If I am in anywhere near the coast I am going to eat there at least one night a week. After the storm I was down there every other week inspection houses for the windpool and would eat it at least once a week. When I was down there, the street signs were not, but I want to say it is at the intersection of Hwy. 90 and Blue Meadow road. There is a Burger King in the parking lot. I actually think it is called Ricky's Bar and Grill now. I am almost willing to bet that if you try it and do not think it is one of the best seafood dishes you have ever tasted, bring me the ticket and I will pick it up....but I bought a house a few weeks ago and that is not possible.

And Gator.

Do you know how I know your gay? You hang out with Ramsey.

Thats funny rite thar..........considering you beg him to let YOU hang out with him everytime you see him...............

It is a huge filet of Speckeled Trout that is lightly breaded and pan fried covered in a heavy white cream sauce with crawfish tails, scallops, shrimp, fried oysters, and green onions and mushrooms. Possibly my death sentence meal. It is devine, if I can say that on a duck hunting forum.

Amen brother...... Ain't nothin better! I have been there dozens and dozens of times, before and after the big K, and I have not been able to ever order anything else, it is soooooo good.

Fresh ground mullet fried up crispy are pretty awesome too.

I have been trying to replicate Rickey's recipe. I have not come close yet, but I am gonna keep on trying. Especially if I keep catching these big specks like I have the last few days

Beware of what you order. Bunches of restaurants are selling fake fish.
