Props. Bama made us look awful. The stage was too big.

Unlike some of the state fan base on here talking their ole piss crap. I think yall have had a great season and I was pulling for them. But the overall talent just isn't there for a run this season just like it's not in oxford. Would anyone have predicted this 5 years ago from eithir school? Hell no. Sports in Mississippi have gone up so much in talent you gotta admit. Look at what the baseball and football programs are doing. I'm proud for the State of Mississippi.

Ole Miss's and State's losses have nothing to do with lack of talent. They both had opportunities to be undefeated right now, but failed to execute. They both $#!+ the bed when it mattered most.

Nobody in the league has stayed undefeated. No reason for the dawg fan base to panic or resort to trash talk. Prop up your team and enjoy the best season in forever. Didn't play bad overall but you can't have turnovers against a great team and come out with a win.

I disagree I don't think either team had national championship talent. I think your asking to much of both programs if that's what you expected. They neither have the talent or coaching staffs to go undefeated. Look at the play calling to tonight. Clock management. That's not what a coaching staff like nick saben has would have done. It's a reason that program is so successful. It's not luck buddy. It takes alot to be that successful for that long.

Clock management. again, issues that have nothing to do with talent. Look at the interceptions, dropped passes, poor running decisions, stupid penalties.Execution issues, not talent. That's not what a coaching staff like nick saben has would have done. It's a reason that program is so successful. It's not luck buddy. It takes alot to be that successful for that long.No $#!+

Yep. This loss was expected...the sky is not falling, MSU will be fine. Win out, and they're probably in the playoff and there's no reason to believe they can't win out. The only thing that bothers me about yesterday is knowing they left the game winning points on the field because of turnovers in the redzone. You just can't do that.

Wow, #moralvictory

Sorry, you asked for that one.

State played a hell of a game yesterday and as the stats show their offense did well. That being said the turnovers by Dak were the deciding factor. State also responded in the 2nd half and made it interesting down to the last 15 seconds. I hope we do both get into the playoff, but there's still some crucial games ahead.

Y'all gotta make sure the train doesn't come off the rails after the emotional loss and we have take care of Auburn. Fortunately for us, we play Auburn in Tuscaloosa. Also, glad to see the AP and coaches polls show some respect for the SEC West today.
I am interested in purchasing duck calls that were made by Mike McLemore. I am a family member and they have a sentimental value.

If State can win out, this game and loss may benefit them. Win out and they are likely in playoff without having to play an extra game in the SECCG. All you gotta do is get in playoff.

State did NOT play a hell of a game. They gutted it out and the defense kept it close enough to nearly overcome half a season worth of mistakes, bad decisions, and nerves. Bama won by playing mistake free against MSUs sloppiest game yet. Was it a fluke or is that just who State is? That's the question. I have an idea and I'm sure Saban doesn't want a rematch.

I agree with this. Win out, and we'll like the result.
