For everyone to be so "obsessed", you have a ratio of posts in this thread of about 3:1 of everyone else....

Seems to be the Ole Miss fans spending a lot of time defending, especially when there's absolutely no wrongdoing? Am I right? But of course, I'm sure I'm grossly generalizing, probably deranged, BUT it is a fact that I have absolutely no hard evidence in the matter. I would also venture to say that stang, nor anyone else, including you has any evidence.

But, while we're on the subject of gross generalizations; I find the fact that you are so adamant to defend your alma mater a little overzealous. No need for novels.

Take a second, step away from the keyboard for a second. The weather outside is always great this time of the night.

ALSO: Everything I just said is a fact. It's so true, you may should print it in red.

I lol'd. If I had Coach's knack for angering you bears, you'd quit the site, again.

You're embarrassing many of your UM compadres, btw.

I've been reading all the BS here from the MSU lunatic brigade for months, without saying much, if anything. I just decided to call some of you out.

Btw, now it appears that the big Chris Jones interview with the NCAA was over the phone. Sounds serious to me.

I hope some of you know, the NCAA does not provide information to anyone about its intended target school for an interview except for the target school, to give the target school advance notice and a chance to have representation during the interview. UM received no notice of the interview and had no representation at the interview. Whatever could this mean?

Also, an interviewed player cannot tell anyone about what is discussed without jeopardizing his eligibility.

So, anyone who claims at this point to know anything specific about what school the NCAA was inquiring about and what Chris was asked is pretty much full of caca.

Like I give a squirt of piss. So, why don't they nutt up and just say so?

The only folks that should be embarrassed, and will be embarrassed, are those buying into and repeating these ridiculous unsubstantiated rumors originating from idiots who dwell in a gutter.

What they said. I quite enjoy reading Po Monk's contributions. He has laid out the situation very clearly and with just the right amount of sarcasm.

After reading his responses a quote from TV comes to mind. "Boom, Lawyered!", Marshall Erickson, fictional Lawyer.

Hotty Toddy boys, Fins Up!

This is a serious question that I would've been willing to discuss civilly this time last year, regarding MSU.

Do you guys think that the recruitment was completely legit or just that no trouble will come out of it?

I'd like to make it known that I don't think anything will come out of it and that is perfectly OK with me. In all honesty, I applaud your ability to get away with whatever degree of finagling that makes your team better. More power to you, and I'll be jealous when it equates to on-the-field success. However, I will freely admit that I don't believe that your recruitment of these highest profile players passes the "funny look test" and I would freely admit the same if MSU were pulling in such a class.

Most of the time...I would 100% agree with your post...last year for Ole Miss; while I won't say that I believe no doubt 100% everything was legit and nothing broke a rule b/c there are so many minuscule NCAA recruiting "rules" that can be implied...but given the circumstances that fell into Ole Miss lap with connections to some of the top players in the country, I do not believe any major infractions occurred to get that class and it doesn't take much to look at the natural connections Ole Miss had to some of the top players and just how the class came together.

As for Chris Jones, he is at Miss State....I don't give a dang, if something happened or was offered...it didn't work...moving on
