And maybe the reason you have to add some pet ducks, is because there werent any wild ducks there. but if you wanted to have a penned pigeon shoot, i think they already have those in Alabama.
What town in Sunflower county is this close to?

my ducks are moving out in the break pretty good. i am going to feed them in the same location for 4 days before moving them to a new feeding location. i want to make sure my ducks know this one location well before i move them further down the break. i will be able to move them north, south, east and west which is important.
go online to: south Carolina mallard restoration.
individuals cannot afford to release great numbers of mallards every year without some way of recouping some money (leasing out holes). it is to expensive. the state of ms nor other wildlife organizations in ms have the funds to do it year in and year out. south Carolina and Alabama do essentially the same thing i am doing and the mallards are hunted on public lands. it is documented that 47% of the ducks migrate north and return back to the general area the following year. the projects are on going and have been for decades in south Carolina. the goal is to increase the mallard population in the ms delta.

have a good one

I'm not much of a morning person. Neither is my partner. I think i will feed my ducks at noon every day. Maybe i could rise around 10 am, take my convertible to the blind, kill limit and be home in time for ABC wide world of sports

kick off.

You're comparing being shot to being poisoned? Yes, shooting the animal you are after is a whole lot better than putting out poison to kill everything that eats it. Who shoots animals other than small game with steel anyways. Poisoning can take weeks to kill. There is nothing instantaneous about poison. Obviously you haven't seen later effects of an animal poisoned. They don't just eat it and and keel over. They aren't getting high doses to kill quickly like a rat or mouse would in eating rat poison. If these dogs that died are getting high doses, then that means that there are going to be even higher numbers of non-target animals like birds being affected.

Gear Out had the best response on this thread..
I warned you guys on here to watch your six when leasing in Sunfower Co.
These morons advertise leases on this site.
You just better be careful...this is the mentality you're dealing with around Indianola. Too many rip-offs and bogus deals.
Who knows, with your "lease-combo/day hunt" you might even get a complimentary view of the federal courthouse thrown in for free...
