arduckslayer wrote:Unfortunately, I was thinking about this dumb booty thread yesterday while mowing my yard. I just wanted to bring something to day break's attention, along with his buddy Walter, and maybe a few others just for general knowledge. Timik is very, very potent. Not only will it kill whatever ingests it, it can continue to kill whatever eats the animal it killed 1st, and so on. So, in yall's brilliant attempt to kill "wild" dogs, coons, coyotes, possums, etc. that would eat your ducks, you may have gone as far as endangering the lives of the hunting dogs that the idiots that will hunt there this fall. What if early in the morning while mo-mo is putting on his waders, he lets his dog out to piss before wading out to whistle up, I mean call in, some mallards and his dog eats on a coon that was killed directly or indirectly from eating one of yall's Timik hotdogs? When his dog gets sick and dies, how good do you think that idea was now? Just wondering.
So, when yall inform the goofballs that lease this place that they aren't hunting wild mallards, you might want to tell them yall treated the place with Timik and to keep their dogs on a leash. That might keep yall out of at least one lawsuit.
day break wrote:just bought 400 of my own ducks. putting them in a break between hwy 61 and the river. want get more specific than that cause i don't want my ducks seeing any more humans than me. i will set up my duck project the same as above . my ducks are 8.5 weeks old and cost a good bit more. set up my lights, cleared a couple of feeding spots and bought some feed.they hit the water almost flying. i must get them use to this break in a hurry or i will lose them. the man told me it is risky to put a duck this old out. they may leave looking for food. still need to get some dog traps. have a good one.

for exmaple you could kill a 4 greenheads (two banded), a mallard/black cross, and a mallard/gaddy cross and smash a hot blonde on the way back to the ramp and call it a hell of a day

GearOut wrote:i put 2 and 2 together and know exactly where these brakes are because i have hunted there. And maybe the reason you have to add some pet ducks, is because there werent any wild ducks there. but if you wanted to have a penned pigeon shoot, i think they already have those in Alabama.
