where, in rolling fork, do you find tha yazoo hop project? i've been thinking about it for a while, but just haven't made the effort to head southwest from isola the times (few) times i've been back...never have been motivated enough to add another hour+ to my drive back to the east side of the state.
Cal - lemme know if you need me to pick you up some Hop Project around the corner. It's "ok", but I actually like their pale ale better.

Which batch of Hop Project did you have? The recipe changes with every batch. They're on Hop Project 65 now. I haven't seen that one yet. Hop Project 63 was phenomenal. It was a hop monster. 64 was a complete change of pace - very very different from 63. It's a "project" beer - so they are constantly changing it. Some versions aren't as good, but overall most versions have been well above average.

Their pale ale is much better than HP 64. It's consistent. You know exactly what you're going to get with that one.

Mine batch a BOD of April 18th, but I can't find which project. Date seems to be in line with HP64 though.
Lil too hoppy for me. Love the Pale Ale though.

That would be 64. It was more of an English style IPA. They're all fairly hoppy. I don't think there's a such thing as too much hops for me... but that's me.

Looks like I'll be coming through Tues morning. I'll have the Yazoo on ice if you can break away for the hand-off.

For you guys that like the dark beers, I found a new one at Diplomat Deli. Young's Double Chocolate Stout. If it's already been mentioned, apologies. This is a black beer with a thick chocoate froth. It is similar to Beamish, with more of a malty top.
Never assume.

Sitting on the beach right now with some Hop Project. And four DF 90. Today is a good day.

I picked up a few of the New Belgium Somersault seaonal beers in ATL this weekend. Check it out if you can find them. They are a lot smoother than a Fat Tire in taste and finish. A good warm weather brew from them.
