The answer is simple - if it were a game - which it isn't, the goal post for both teams is in the middle of the field, not on their respective end.
The problem is, the left LOVES federal government and they want their beliefs imposed on the entire nation. They will not yield, they will not compromise and they will use every tool at their disposal to make it happen
To get free stuff right? Here's an example of just how wrong you are about your ideas on this.

Number 2 largest recipient of welfare and chip program (food stamps)?
Kentucky
Ethnic breakdown - 86% white
Political allegiance - 66% conservative, 30% democratic, 4% neutral

Who is gettin all that free stuff again?

Answer: People who need it regardless of party affiliation.
So watch it with all that "progressive" and "free" association, nothing could be further from the truth.
The goal line analogy was just that- an analogy. Don’t stoop that low. Second, Kentucky is more like an exception than the rule, but here you go again, bringing race back into the discussion...but WE are all about division. The fact is, more whites are on welfare simply and only because they are the sizeable majority. The truth is revealed in what percentage of each demographic is on welfare. Third, and most concerning, no acknowledgement of the constitution anywhere in your rebuttal.

It's puzzling to me that you would so much love to deny that Kentucky is by far mostly conservatives who draw gubment checks. Not the first mention of why that is, what could be done about it without starving people, anything like that.
(Like maybe raise the minimum wage so people could actually work for a living for a change)

The goal line analogy isnt stooping at it, it's pointing out that the solutions for the ENTIRE country lay in compromise in the MIDDLE, not on either end of these arguments. That is what balance is supposed to be about.
But I am sure that you are tickled pink that it looks like the supreme court is about to be unadulterated conservative even though it's primary purpose is to achieve balance in the interpretation of law. Which it will never do when it is tilted adversely in either direction. But Im sure you love it dont you.

OK brother which part of that needed a constitutional mention, Im all ears.

I didn’t deny that at all, not even a little bit. I simply said it’s a cherry picked exception. As for minimum wage, free men are not told by the government what they must pay someone to work for them. That is between the employer and potential employee to negotiate amongst themselves...in a free society. The problem is, true freedom isn’t important to the left, only perceived freedoms like the freedom to kill your children and such.

If that were true we would all be working as slaves so you can get off that whimsical "free men" horse crap the laws are written because men are greedy as FK and have to be controlled or else bad things happen and civil wars get fought.

Yeah the left doesn't care at all about you wanting to charge whatever you can get away with including zero to work people to death, they all want porches and Gucci and fresh daffodils in their salads and such.

Man you are really out there, I didn't realize it but now I see just how extreme you really are.
I don't care to talk with about this, slinging facts at a brain that polluted just makes a person tired for nothing.

No one in the Trump campaign has been charged with anything that has to do with Russian interference in the election.

Although the announcement today does seem to come as a slap in the face after yesterday‘s $#!+ show with Peter struck.

Yeah Wing and honestly I hope nobody IS charged in any of this from the Trump camp because that would be REALLY bad for America on a whole bunch of levels.
One thing does seem certain - Russia not only picks who they want to oppose them, but actively engages in trying to make it happen, even infiltrating our election system to do so. That is not good - at all.

The dude says freedom is horse crap...and I had no idea just how much of a government worshipping statist I was dealing with. The times in which we live- when the idea of personal liberty is considered...extreme

It's funny how history repeats itself...

I guess those times when things were "great" in America were just prior to the appearance of these liberty suffocating laws that those damn progressives were responsible for.
Minimum wage legislation emerged at the end of the nineteenth century from the desire to end sweated labor which had developed in the wake of industrialization.[16] Sweatshops employed large numbers of women and young workers, paying them what were considered nonliving wages that did not allow workers to afford the necessaries of life.[17] Besides substandard wages, sweating was also associated with long work hours and unsanitary work conditions.[18] From the 1890s to the 1920s, during the Progressive Era, a time of social activists and political reform across the United States, progressive reformers, women's organizations, religious figures, academics, and politicians all played an important role in getting state minimum wage laws passed throughout the United States.[19]
And now just looky at today, nobody can make a living anymore, minimum wage has been flat for 35 years, people are working themselves to the bone and still cannot get ahead. And looky here, here come those pesky Progressives again.......

So predictable...I had no idea believing exactly what the founders believed was so problematic for statists like you

I wonder, is there anyone...anyone reading this today who isn’t earning a living wage? Besides, I’ve already instructed you as to why it’s ridiculous to compare modern “progressives” to progressives of old and how modern conservatives are actually the classic liberals of today

What did they believe? That all men are created equal?
The guy who penned that owned 13 slaves at the time.
But you want me to take what they had to say as "the word"?

OK, when and where can I order me some of them slaves, I needs me some to pick some melons.

You can stop with all this adoration of the constitution, which has been amended many times trying to fix all it's fk ups by the way. Probably needs some more amending at the moment too.

MAN you live in a fairy tale world and I hate to tell ya, THAT world is NEVER coming back to America dude...

And THAT is what’s wrong with America. It’s also unfair and fundamentally dishonest to condemn men for living in a way that was socially acceptable in that day. The constitution is all you have. It’s the only thing that protects you FROM the government, yet you have been conditioned to disregard it....it’s only been weakened because of people like you.
