Saturday morning we had four that would gobble at any sound we made. The two closest to us were running together, & gobbled 64 times on the roost, and 38 more on the ground - that morning - before they left, probably with some hens.
That afternoon, we found the same two birds at 2:30 and we talked to them for two hours solid. They were hung up in a bottom that had several creeks running through it, and we could not get them close enough. Every twig we steped on, every crow that flew over, the dog bark, a cow moo, any sound they heard they gobbled - almost in tandem. They just shut up when they heard us trying to sneak up on them....

Sometimes you just have to close your eyes, count to ten, take a deep breath and remind yourself that you wouldn't look good in prison stripes... and just smile at that dumbass and walk away.
Hey Rip...
It didn't take long Saturday morning. Setup on a bird at 5:30 and he was dead at 5:50, damn near landed in my lap. I watched this bird on the limb strut and gobble and watched him pitch out and glide right to me.
Wasn't much happening on Sunday morning.. windy and cloudy down home. Didn't hear nothing all day Sunday.
