I've shot muzzy's for years and killed deer with them. I bought a pack of G5 T3's yesterday just out of curiosity and to change it up a little. Well, I shot one of those in my rhinehart target one time and a blade broke off inside of the target. I had just got off the phone with jdbuckshot and he was telling me to go get some slick tricks. I did and they definitely seem to be made better than most I've seen and used. I'm ready to see what they do!

We had to pass a rule at our camp because of the Rage broadheads. You can not shoot them on a food plot on our property. Not only does it kill the deer it kills the food plot too! Like shooting Chuck Norris on a stick!

I shot a 250 pound 7 point through the shoulder 2 years ago with a two blade rage - no blood, penetrated maybe 8 inches, he died within 70 yards.

I shot a 275 pound 8 point in the shoulder with a slick trick last year - no blood, penetrated maybe 8 inches, he died within 70 yards.

If you shoot a deer in the shoulder with bow, you're not gonna get a pass through. I don't care who you are or what you are shooting. He's not gonna bleed, and he's gonna die.

I switched to slick tricks for one reason. Although I've never had a rage open on me mid flight, I would shoot myself if it happened when I was drawn on a book deer. Slick tricks are made very well, fly like field points, and there is nothing that can happen in the air that will mess up your shot. less chance of product defect when all other things are equal = the broadhead I will use.

Slictrick-sters,

Have yall noticed the price increase on them? WOOF!

Also, have yall noticed a change in the tip/ferrule? Its gone from a muzzy-ish trocar tip to a more slimlined field point type tip.
