Wingman[
Doesn't matter if he owns the land or not. A felon can't possess or be near a firearm.
Okay, but muzzleloaders evidentally don't count as firearms....firearms can't be sold thru catalogs, etc., but muzzleloaders can....so, my question is, can a felon hunt with a muzzleloader???....if so, and if I was a felon, I'd just sell the rifles, and invest in 35 Whelens and 45-70's, and top each one with some jam-up Leupold scopes....they're dang near as accurate as Rem. 700's out to 200 yards.

.35 whelen and .45-70 aren't muzzleloaders. A muzzleloader is a firearm. A felon can't have it.

Your confusing muzzle loader with MS State Law defined "Primative Weapon". They are WAY different.

Now here is a slightly different question....

Now in the late 60s and early 70s, I went on a few guided hunts in LA. Actually rode in a pearoux(sp) boat. :D

It was common practice back then for the hunters to also shoot the Guides and boat operators limits as well as their own.
(the limit was only 4 ducks then).

Now, I'm guessing that is probably still done by some guide services, although it is technically a violation of the Fed Game laws.

Do you think that some of the 23 counts against Folies are of that variety ?

God Bless you

Never trust anybody who puts face paint on their dog.....

The boy is in a lot of trouble...the "everybody else is doing it..." defense doesn't float well in court.

I've been hearing about this for three years, and now it finally comes to fruition. This stuff could go on and on for a while...lot's of things that are commonly done are violation of federal laws and if you get caught you could end up in just as much trouble as a "celebrity" hunter like Mr. Foiles....
