Maker's Mark is always #1 in my book! though my limited budget doesn't always permit it. JD is my backup plan.

Depending on the mood, I alternate regularly.

Captain Morgan, Jack, or Crown. Occasionally throw in Jose on a weekend.

American Honey Wild Turkey, or Old Foresters. Both are 'no headache'...

Pappy Van Winkle

For those extremely special occasion I have a 23 year old family reserve bottle of Pappys that is without a doubt the best I have ever had.

Absolutely without a doubt, hands down the best bourbon ever. As good as an old bottle of Wild Turkey Dad had that was 20 years old when I was born. Came in a wooden presentation box. But 23 y/o Pappy, smoother than mother's milk and just as rare...

I tried Bulleit this year, on my second bottle. Not too pricey and rather tasty. Woodford is good, Basil's is great, Knob's just OK but my go to is Maker's. Eagle Rare is nice too. Hell, I just love bourbon so I'm of the "brown it's down" school as well...

I used to be a devout Old Charter drinker, but I mixed it with a soft drink. Now that I am on a diet I am drinking mine with a splash of water. I am on a Elijah Craig and Makers kick now. Basil Hayden is smoothe and doesnt need water. I like Knob and Woodford, but can be a little rough. I have heard the Buffalo Trace is good, and I am waiting on a bottle of Four Roses that I asked someone to pick up, but later found out I can buy it across the river in Hinds Co.

Mr. bartender come on over here,
I want another drink and I want it right now,
I want one bourbon, one scotch, and one beer.

Don't get no better than that!

How's it hanging back in God's country?
