Ive looked at the fountains and they are more expensive that what I want to spend. I was looking at a diffuser system.

Me as well. I'm not sure off the benefit however for cooling purposes. I'm still researching what will work best on my pond, and it looks like it will be 12' deep in some parts of it.

The one in the link is to big for mine.

Per a good suggestion, I made the bottom middle cove bigger, to give the benefits of a shorter channel blind across the lake.

Looks good. How about a small island in the top right in close proximity to your point/finger. This would give you more reentries, marks on islands, blinds with islands, and more chances for slot work.

I was thinking to left where it is a good hand throw from close to the end of the finger and the land above it, and would still give you a good slot picture. Either way looks good though. Didnt think about it until I saw it on picture but would also allow you to do Carr's point drills and cast into water drills easily.

Ya'll aint right  With all those empty beer cans you could go to a metal recycle place and cash them in every year for some nice training equipment to place around the pond. :P

You cant hide money
Looks good Brian!! In a few years Ill bring my twins over and tell them they are at Disney World!!

you could alaways pick up a used aerator from an out of business catfish farmer. maybe dig a hole for a pitblind somewhere on the edge for tune ups for the season!!!

2 islands would be super cool. At a angle to swim thru or in between. But would be a headache to keep up, unless you did round up on it every year.

look forward to seeing it.

DIB, i'm kinda talking about what charles said.

way back when, down at the lardy deal i went to, at first everything looks so "involved" but then you look at his personal pond and it's really kinda spread out - more than we have to work on, sure, but still very spread out.

then, we went over to the dubose's place (a pond he designed too) and he made a comment kinda like he didn't like it too much b/c everything is just thrown at the dog, leaving it hard to teach on. CL2 has had similar comments about it over the years.

it's kinda like, don't make your pond more than it needs to be b/c as charles stated, aLOT can be taught to a dog w/ a couple points, island, and some shoreline to swim.

make sense?

Here is my tech pond top of screen and my neighbors bottom of screen for some ideas. If you want to roll over to Tuscaloosa and train one day and see them in person your welcome anytime. I personally would not put in an island they are great but a biotch to keep cut.
