This is the story that I got.

"One of my best friends, a duck hunter, talked to one of the 2 others from Pontotoc that were in the boat. Both of them live in that subdivision behind me.
Story was that they probably were going a little too fast before daylight, turned into big cove and slowed down about same time, boat riding low in water anyway, water came over back of boat and sunk it. You probably know the type boat, the back was open and had a cab and front that was enclosed. Back end sank first and the 2 that drowned couldn't get out. Must have happened in a matter of seconds. The others made it to some trees and bushes. As cold as it was and has been last few weeks, it could have been a lot worse."
