Thanks man.

Outta those, no redhead and no ruddy.

My favorite outta those has to be the black duck. Taken several over the years but man, they are some wary customers...that's why they're my faves. Pretty birds too in a subtle way.

if you don't mind the drive, I can put you on all of the cans & ruddys you want; in a good year we'll have the redheads to go with them

I know that this was a pretty lame topic, but I'm glad you guys liked it.

Since where I hunt, we get bunches of Ruddy ducks, I figured that everyone had shot some. I guess I learned that maybe they aren't so common.

But like everyone else, It's hard to beat shooting old MR. Greenhead.

God Bless you

10 out of 10, too. All from Mississippi except Arkansas ruddy, Louisiana canvasback and Arkansas/Texas redheads.

10/10, but only 1 ruddy duck ever, and that was 2001 or whatever that bad booty high water year was in the delta. We had to bust the book out to figure out what it was. Dig that funky tail. Looks like something GH22 would pick up in a bar in Buras.

10 for 10.
Only one Ruddy Duck. only one Black duck, 4 Cans and numerous of the other species.

I did not see BWT on there. They are a pretty good stable around here, and I have killed one cinnamon teal... Wish I would have mounted it. Up until 3 yrs ago it was the Widgon that I had never killed. I have had tons of them killed by clients but I never shot one.
