i spent $25,000 in 16 months buying 2 Rangers. When it was all said and done out of the 16 months i had them one of them was literally in the shop at all times. i eventually sold them both. one i got $6500 for and the other $3500 for. I lost lots of money and a big time bunch of headaches. the last one was an 07 and it had major issues for months and months and months. it has had 3 $460 wiring harnesses, several belts, clutches, and gears. I would not take ownership of one if someone dropped it off in my yard with a clear title free of charge. However most people i talk with havent had any much trouble with theirs. they do have the most power, room and features but i would look at the rhino or the teryx. i bought a rhino and it is much like other yamaha stuff and hasnt given me any trouble. I know i am in the minority here but man i had a rough go with the rangers. I would stay away from the Rangers far far away.

Whose Ranger was featured on here about halfway up to the roof in water?

Naw, there was some picture of someone's Ranger that was completely flooded on here. I think it might have taken place at Willow Break.
