I bought a beretta x2 this summer, and the way the gun fit was perfect...FOR ME..!! I havent gotten to shoot it as much as I wanted prior to season, but I hit 80% the day I brought it home. I don't like the fact the button under the shell carrier is finicky..that has taken some getting used to,
What I have seen of the Benellis, they are a little simpler, but about an inch and a half to long in the stock for me.

i got the SBE II last year. ive gone on very successful hunts with it and in pretty rough conditions too. I had no malfunctions and was veery pleased with the feel of the gun. while dove huntin in september this year though it jam a couple of times when i press the button that enabled to action to stay open accidentally, not allowing me to shoot.
Overall though, great gun

Beretta is clearly the better option, how silly of you to ask....
I have had an Extrema for three seasons and yet to have an issue. Great gun!

Must be below ten degrees....

After a week slamming around muddy South Dakota corn fields and potholes without cleaning it, I took my Extrema 2 out on the last day and it worked fine. It was the only thing that worked fine. Spitting sleet and snow that instantly froze onto anything it touched rendered zippers on coats, decoy bags, everything, useless. I had hunks of ice that froze the ends of my duck strap together so that I had to blow hot air on em to thaw em so I could get my birds out. The Beretta never missed a lick. Neither did the Benelli in our group, but it was a Nova.

ive hunted with guys who have just about every gun imaginable, benelli's included. I have hunted with these same people for many years and the only gun constant in the blind is my beretta 390 silver mallard. You absolutely can not kill this gun. Well over a 100 cases of different types of shells in varying environments and when i pull the trigger it always goes boom. If beretta still makes them like that i really dont know how you could go wrong with one. Just my 9 cents

I've got a Silver Mallard also but mine is too purty to duck hunt with. It is absolutly my favorite gun though. I love it.
I duck hunt with the all time killing BPS baby....

When I get another 25 bucks saved up I am going to get one of those gold trigger mossbergs, fine gun.
If everyone passed around the same pair of jeans is it going to be a good fit for everyone, he!! no. You have to try it for yourself. I had to have an E2 after my buddy wouldn't shut up about his and the x2 makes every trip I go on with E2 behind the back seat. Lesson learned.

Sounds like the script for a commercial.
