Dont really know about all of the guns, but let me just say it again...A .357 Sig/.357Auto IS NOT the same as a .357 mag revolver cartridge. It's more akin to a .38 SPL...imo

I have a IMI Baby Desert Eagle in 9mm, that I wouldn't trade for anything. It's an older steel frame model, not composite, but with the polygonal rifling. Feels good, ridiculously accurate, and in 1000+ rounds, haven't had a jam or misfeed.

He was busy all night. I am sure he will get in on it today.

I knew he sounded rough when I talked to him at lunch lol. He is still without computer and PDA so it may be a while before he gets back on

Sorry guys, I didn't get in until early this morning. If you want my honest opinion on the best self defense gun made (and UncleTed agrees :D ) Get a 10mm Glock 20/29. Yea the FBI developed it but all the pansieasselittlemen couldn't shoot them because the recoil, blah blah blah. Get a man's gun!

But in all seriousness (minus the fact the 10mm is a kick ass round), I have three other glocks and they are all in .40 for a reason. I carry a 23 with CTC laser grips and 165 grain expanding full metal jackets in a Comp-tac MTAC holster daily. Get a gun you are comfortable with, be it a pink 22 or a 45-70 BFR. If you are not comfortable with the gun you will not carry it and you would be better off with a thing of pepper spray. Choosing a gun is alot like choosing your favorite drink. It is all personal preference and while one can say "The best is _______" well thats bullchit plain and simple because as humans we are all different. The best gun you have is the one you carry with you, all the time. I also have a little .380 ruger LCP I absolutely love. It is in my pocket when I got pants on! I love it because it shoots good and I will carry it even when I'm wearing formal clothes that I cannot conceal my 23 in. A gun is good, a bigger gun is better, but a tank is best! My pistols are to get me out of harms way and to a bigger gun if the threat persists. I am not a swat team and neither are you. If in my house, I have a couple bigger guns so while a pistol may be grabbed for a bump in the night situation (which doesn't happen much since I have a 75lb retarded Doberman that sleeps in the bed) but if I knew someone was there, it would be a 12 gauge that gets grabbed or an AR since i'm kinda out in the country and no worries about popping a neighbor. All in all if you are around Greenwood ever give me a call, I can have a wide selection of pistols available for you to shoot. Just bring a couple boxes of .40 or whatever caliber you want to shoot.

On the GAP, my brother in law has the 37. Awesome pistol but look at the price of bullets before you buy one. Thats all I will say about it! He bought a box of Rangers a day or two ago for dang near 45-50 bucks if I remember correctly. If you shoot much, the GAP will eat you out of house and home.

.357 sig is a good bullet too, but again expensive.

If you have any questions I will be happy to try and answer a little more in depth. I also will be happy to let anyone shoot with me. I have some great places to shoot and like to shoot just a little. I am waiting on my laptop to be delivered now so I am currently without computer so it may take a little while to get back to threads.

I knew this kid named Max
He used to get fat stacks on the corner with drugs
He liked to hang out late He liked to get $#!+ faced
And keep pace with thugs
Until late one night there was a big gunfight &
Max lost his head
He pulled out his chrome .45
Talked some $#!+
And wound up dead
Now his wife and his kids are caught in the midst of all of his pain
You know it comes that way
At least that's what they say, when you play the game
Where'd who go?

Can't beat the Glock 40 imo. But whatever gun you chose get nights sights, always helps to be able to see your sights in low light situations.
